 Hi,
 I'm Elaine and I came to Bulgaria along with my two daughters. After  experiencing some tough times in the UK I  decided we would try something different  and new.
First off what???
I searched various avenues and the something different most certainly came along.

Bulgaria!!!!

I began my research then,solely on bulgaria around May 06 and researched for months in the areas I was interested in. I came across many things but a house for us was first and foremost. I came over to Bulgaria in December to look at the houses we chose on our shortlist. Shortlisting is not always a great way to go as you usually need to look at many more properties. Villages can either be more remote than you thought or just not have what you are looking for from them. I needed to be near schools and various amenities for my girls.

I chose the house which was right for us unfortunately it fell through, I searched again and again, and low and behold third time lucky (which was a sign).We did get exactly what we had been looking for. A run down hovel!!! (not as bad as some).
Which may i add is now home.

After returning to the UK it was decided that i would leave the UK in January so not long to get organised. Shortly afterwards that is exactly what happened.
There were several hic-ups along the way which I expected but finally we are here now and are settling in to our new life well. The hic-ups along the way will be revealed at a later date in our diary, those of you who are already living the life know where i am going with this.....it's called Travels and renovation!!!
